What Your Super Bowl Menu Should Look Like
Super Bowl Sunday is an excellent time of year. Food, family, drinks, and friends! What's better than that?
There aren't many things better than that, but this year, the Super Bowl celebrations will look different.
With COVID-19 still spreading rapidly through the United States, it's best to stay home and organize a small group of your close family member and friends rather than a big get-together.
But, just because there might be less food this year does not mean for one second, you need to cut corners on food. That's the best part!
At David Alan Caterers, we've prepared a unique Super Bowl Sunday catering menu, but if you enjoy cooking and like to do it on your own, here's what we recommend you have!
Super Bowl Food Menu
Mini Deep Dish Pizza Bites
Everybody loves pizza. Do you know what's better than a pie of pizza? Bite-sized pizza! Mini deep dish pizza bites are always a massive hit at parties. We recommend making them a bit well-done so that they get nice and crispy. You can add any topics you want like pepperoni, sausage, meatball, or keep them plain cheese. They're great anyway, and your guests will love these hors d'oeuvres!
Pigs in Blankets with Honey Mustard
We're a bit biased, but pigs in blankets are our favorite hors d'oeuvre. You may have heard them called other names like franks en croute or franks in a down quilt, but they all mean the same thing! If you don't know, they're mini beef hot dogs, wrapped in puff pastry and baked until golden brown. We recommend serving them with honey mustard or ketchup if you must, but beware, they are super addicting, and one could turn into 20 very quickly!
Chicken Fingers with BBQ Sauce
Who doesn't like chicken fingers? Seriously, we haven't met anybody that doesn't. Chicken fingers are a great appetizer to have on your Super Bowl menu because they're easy to make, heat up, and everyone loves them. There are various dipping sauces to pair your chicken nuggets with, but we like barbecue sauce the best. If you're feeling a bit fierce, you can make your chicken nuggets spicy and pair them with a spicy aioli. Chicken fingers are always a crowd pleaser and make the perfect addition to any Super Bowl menu.
Conclusion
These are just a few of the many great things you should be eating on Super Bowl Sunday! We have a Super Bowl menu available on our website for you to browse. If you see anything you like, give us a call at (973)-884-4040.
